Emily Ho – I have been active member of Pangea since the fall of 2018 and soon afterwards, went on my first site visit to Myanmar in the spring of 2019. Since then, I have been a member of the Southeast Asia pod. I am the daughter of first generation immigrants to the USA. My parents experienced war, colonialism, and political upheaval first-hand. Through their experiences, it has been my mission to give back to society. I am a neurologist by training with a focus on infectious disease, stroke, and public health. As a member of Pangea, I appreciate the opportunity to serve the global community from a grassroots level through the support of our grant partners.

Robin Rice – I joined Pangea in 2011, inspired by the passion and values expressed by other members and the opportunity to learn from and engage with grantees. My interest in Africa stems from teaching and travel in West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer and from extensive travel in southern Africa. I am retired from a career in education and social service. Robin rejoined the Board in 2021 and currently serves as the East Africa Pod Chair.
