2022 Grants Announced!
We are proud to announce that in 2022 Pangea Giving is funding 13 organizations. This investment represents a total of $114,000. The Board approved the grant allocations after receiving recommendations from our three regional pods.
East Africa
In Kenya and Uganda, these organizations address gender equity and gender-based violence prevention, support girls’ education, community youth leadership, and women’s economic inclusion. In addition, we will be supporting the East Africa Leadership Forum, a participant-led workshop for Pangea partners focusing on leadership development. Southeast Asia
The Southeast Asia pod welcomes two new grantees: Cambodia Indigenous Women Association–CIWA and Green Community Volunteers. Our 2022 grantees in Asia support gender equity and women’s empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, indigenous rights, environmental education, environmental justice, youth empowerment, community development, and food sovereignty.
